Caiu a grande Babilônia! – 1
Depois destas coisas, vi descer do céu outro anjo, que tinha grande autoridade, e a terra se iluminou com a sua glória.
Então, exclamou com potente voz, dizendo: Caiu! Caiu a grande Babilônia e se tornou morada de demônios, covil de toda espécie de espírito imundo e esconderijo de todo gênero de ave imunda e detestável, pois todas as nações têm bebido do vinho do furor da sua prostituição. Com ela se prostituíram os reis da terra. Também os mercadores da terra se enriqueceram à custa da sua luxúria.
Ouvi outra voz do céu, dizendo: Retirai-vos dela, povo meu, para não serdes cúmplices em seus pecados e para não participardes dos seus flagelos; porque os seus pecados se acumularam até ao céu, e Deus se lembrou dos atos iníquos que ela praticou.
Dai-lhe em retribuição como também ela retribuiu, pagai-lhe em dobro segundo as suas obras e, no cálice em que ela misturou bebidas, misturai dobrado para ela.
O quanto a si mesma se glorificou e viveu em luxúria, dai-lhe em igual medida tormento e pranto, porque diz consigo mesma: Estou sentada como rainha. Viúva, não sou. Pranto, nunca hei de ver!
Por isso, em um só dia, sobrevirão os seus flagelos: morte, pranto e fome; e será consumida no fogo, porque poderoso é o Senhor Deus, que a julgou. (Apocalipse 18:1-8)

E’ caduta Babilonia la grande! – 1
Dopo queste cose, vidi scendere dal cielo un altro angelo che aveva una grande potestà; e la terra fu illuminata dalla sua gloria.
Egli gridò con forza e a gran voce, dicendo: "E’ caduta, è caduta Babilonia la grande, ed è diventata una dimora di demoni, un covo di ogni spirito immondo, un covo di ogni uccello immondo ed abominevole.
Perché tutte le nazioni hanno bevuto del vino dell’ardore della sua fornicazione, i re della terra hanno fornicato con lei e i mercanti della terra si sono arricchiti a motivo del suo sfrenato lusso".
Poi udii un’altra voce dal cielo che diceva: "Uscite da essa, o popolo mio, affinché non abbiate parte ai suoi peccati e non vi venga addosso alcuna delle sue piaghe, perché i suoi peccati si sono accumulati e sono giunti fino al cielo, e Dio si è ricordato delle sue iniquità.
Rendete ciò che essa ha fatto a voi, anzi rendetele il doppio secondo le sue opere; nella coppa in cui ha versato, versatele il doppio.
Nella misura che essa ha glorificato se stessa e ha vissuto nelle delizie, nella stessa misura datele tormento e cordoglio, poiché essa dice in cuor suo: "Io seggo come regina, non sono vedova e non vedrò mai cordoglio".
Per questo, in uno stesso giorno, verranno le sue piaghe: morte, cordoglio e fame, e sarà interamente consumata col fuoco, poiché potente è il Signore Dio che la giudicherà". (Apocalisse 18:1-8)

Babylon the great is fallen! – 1
And after these things, I saw another angel come down from Heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened by his glory.
And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication; and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have waxed rich through the abundance of her self-gratificatious pleasures."
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues; for her sins have reached unto Heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
Reward her even as she has rewarded you, and unto her double according to her works; in the cup which she hath filled, fill to her double.
How much she hath glorified herself and lived voluptuously! That much torment and sorrow give back to her; for she saith in her heart, ‘I sit a queen and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.’
Therefore shall her plagues come in one day" death and mourning and famine, and she shall be utterly burned with fire; for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. (Revelation 18:1-8)

¡Ha caído Babilonia la grande! – 1
Después de estas cosas vi a otro ángel que descendía del cielo y que tenía gran autoridad, y la tierra se iluminó con su gloria.
Y proclamó con potente voz diciendo: "¡Ha caído, ha caído Babilonia la grande! Se ha convertido en habitación de demonios, refugio de todo espíritu inmundo, y refugio de toda ave inmunda y aborrecible.
Porque todas las naciones han bebido el vino de la furia de su fornicación. Los reyes de la tierra han fornicado con ella, y los comerciantes de la tierra se han enriquecido con la potencia de su lujosa sensualidad."
Oí otra voz del cielo que decía: "¡Salid de ella, pueblo mío, para que no participéis de sus pecados y para que no recibáis sus plagas!
Pues sus pecados se han amontonado hasta el cielo, y Dios se ha acordado de sus injusticias.
Pagadle tal como ella os ha pagado, y devolvedle el doble según sus obras. En la copa que ella preparó, preparadle el doble.
En la medida que ella se ha glorificado y ha vivido en sensualidad, así dadle tormento y llanto, porque dice en su corazón: ‘Estoy sentada como reina; no soy viuda, ni jamás veré llanto.’
Por eso, en un solo día le sobrevendrán las plagas: muerte, llanto y hambre. Y será quemada con fuego, porque fuerte es el Señor Dios quien la juzga. (Apocalipsis 18:1-8)

Gefallen ist Babylon, die Große! – 1
Darnach sah ich einen andern Engel aus dem Himmel herabsteigen, der hatte große Gewalt, und die Erde wurde erleuchtet von seiner Herrlichkeit.
Und er rief mit mächtiger Stimme und sprach: Gefallen, gefallen ist Babylon, die Große, und ist eine Behausung der Dämonen und ein Gefängnis aller unreinen Geister und ein Gefängnis aller unreinen und verhaßten Vögel geworden.
Denn von dem Wein ihrer grimmigen Unzucht haben alle Völker getrunken, und die Könige der Erde haben mit ihr Unzucht getrieben, und die Kaufleute der Erde sind von ihrer gewaltigen Wollust reich geworden.
Und ich hörte eine andere Stimme aus dem Himmel, die sprach: Gehet aus ihr heraus, mein Volk, damit ihr nicht ihrer Sünden teilhaftig werdet und damit ihr nicht von ihren Plagen empfanget!
Denn ihre Sünden reichen bis zum Himmel, und Gott hat ihrer Ungerechtigkeiten gedacht.
Vergeltet ihr, wie auch sie euch vergolten hat, und gebet ihr das Zwiefache nach ihren Werken; in den Becher, welchen sie euch eingeschenkt hat, schenket ihr doppelt ein!
In dem Maße, wie sie sich selbst verherrlichte und Wollust trieb, gebet ihr nun Pein und Leid! Denn sie spricht in ihrem Herzen: Ich throne als Königin und bin keine Witwe und werde kein Leid sehen.
Darum werden an einem Tage ihre Plagen kommen, Tod und Leid und Hunger, und sie wird mit Feuer verbrannt werden; denn stark ist Gott, der Herr, der sie richtet. (Offenbarung 18:1-8)

Elle est tombée, Babylone la grande! – 1
Après ces choses, je vis un autre ange descendant du ciel, ayant un grand pouvoir; et la terre fut illuminée de sa gloire.
Et il cria avec une forte voix, disant, Elle est tombée, elle est tombée, Babylone la grande! et elle est devenue la demeure de démons, et le repaire de tout esprit immonde, et le repaire de tout oiseau immonde et exécrable; car toutes les nations ont bu du vin de la fureur de sa fornication, et les rois de la terre ont commis fornication avec elle, et les marchands de la terre sont devenus riches par la puissance de son luxe.
Et j’ouïs une autre voix venant du ciel, disant, Sortez du milieu d’elle, mon peuple, afin que vous ne participiez pas à ses péchés et que vous ne receviez pas de ses plaies, car ses péchés se sont amoncelés jusqu’au ciel, et Dieu s’est souvenu de ses iniquités.
Donnez-lui comme elle vous a donné, et doublez-lui le double, selon ses oeuvres; dans la coupe qu’elle a mixtionnée, versez-lui le double.
Autant elle s’est glorifiée et a été dans les délices, autant donnez-lui de tourment et de deuil. Parce qu’elle dit dans son coeur, Je suis assise en reine, et je ne suis point veuve, et je ne verrai point de deuil; -c’est pourquoi en un seul jour viendront ses plaies, mort, et deuil, et famine, et elle sera brûlée au feu; car le Seigneur Dieu qui l’a jugée est puissant! (Apocalypse 18:1-8)

После сего я увидел иного Ангела, сходящего с неба и имеющего власть великую; земля осветилась от славы его.
И воскликнул он сильно, громким голосом говоря: пал, пал Вавилон, великая блудница , сделался жилищем бесов и пристанищем всякому нечистому духу, пристанищем всякой нечистой и отвратительной птице; ибо яростным вином блудодеяния своего она напоилавсе народы, и цари земные любодействовали с нею, и купцы земные разбогатели от великой роскоши ее.
И услышал я иной голос с неба, говорящий: выйди от нее, народ Мой, чтобы не участвовать вам в грехах ее и не подвергнуться язвам ее; ибо грехи ее дошли до неба, и Бог воспомянул неправды ее.
Воздайте ей так, как и она воздала вам, и вдвое воздайте ей по делам ее; в чаше, в которой она приготовляла вам вино, приготовьте ей вдвое.
За то в один день придут на нее казни, смерть и плач и голод, и будет сожжена огнем, потому что силен Господь Бог, судящий ее. (Откровение 18:1-6, 8) [Синодальный перевод]
