Jesus weinte

The seven seals

1 ¶ And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard, as it were, the noise of thunder, one of the four living beings saying, "Come and see!"

Jesús lloró

33 ¶ Entonces Jesús, al verla llorando y al ver a los judíos que habían venido junto con ella también llorando, se conmovió en espíritu y se turbó.

A alegria do Senhor é a nossa força

Versículo bastante conhecido, está nesta passagem do livro de Neemias:

Disse-lhes mais: ide, comei carnes gordas, tomai bebidas doces e enviai porções aos que não têm nada preparado para si; porque este dia é consagrado ao nosso Senhor; portanto, não vos entristeçais, porque a alegria do SENHOR é a vossa força. (Neemias 8:10)

O início do texto acima será comentado posteriormente. Neste momento, ficaremos apenas com a terminação, que é esta ordem: "não vos entristeçais", seguindo-se com a conclusão, objeto deste comentário: "a alegria do SENHOR é a vossa força".

Prefiro "ordem" a "recomendação", porque é assim que se deve entender o que está escrito na Palavra de Deus. São "mandamentos" e não "conselhos", "sugestões" ou coisa que o valha.

Continuando.

"Não vos entristeçais" tem sido entendido e pregado como uma ordem para que se entoe cânticos de louvor ao Senhor Deus. E isto, de certo modo, é verdade. Ficar triste diante do Senhor Deus não resolve a tristeza. Deve-se ter a alegria de se poder estar diante do Trono, sem receios e com segurança.

Uma grande verdade, mas, não é toda a verdade.

Vejamos esta passagem no livro de Provérbios:

Como quem se despe num dia de frio e como vinagre sobre feridas, assim é o que entoa canções junto ao coração aflito. (Provérbios 25:20)

Para os que estão tristes, aflitos, com sofrimentos de qualquer espécie, assim diz a Palavra de Deus:

Está alguém entre vós sofrendo? Faça oração. Está alguém alegre? Cante louvores. (Tiago 5:13)

O Senhor Deus está atento a todas as coisas. Sua Palavra não diz para os que estão sofrendo cantar louvores. "Faça oração" é o que está escrito, ou seja, "fale Comigo!" Observem as passagens a seguir:

Oferece a Deus sacrifício de ações de graças e cumpre os teus votos para com o Altíssimo; invoca-me no dia da angústia; eu te livrarei, e tu me glorificarás. (Salmos 50:14, 15)

Invoca-me, e te responderei; anunciar-te-ei coisas grandes e ocultas, que não sabes. (Jeremias 33:3)

Então, como é que o Senhor poderia ficar alegre e, por conseqüência, nos dar a força que necessitamos, como afirma o livro de Neemias?

A resposta está na Terceira Epístola do apóstolo João:

Não tenho maior alegria do que esta, a de ouvir que meus filhos andam na verdade. (3 João 4)

O filhos de Deus que andam na verdade são os tornam o Senhor Deus alegre. E "a alegria do SENHOR é a nossa força".

O Senhor Jesus disse: Eu sou o caminho, e a verdade, e a vida; ninguém vem ao Pai senão por mim. (João 14:6)

Andar com o Senhor é andar na verdade. Andar com o Senhor é obedecê-Lo e servi-Lo.

Jesus é o Seu Nome! Jesus Cristo é Senhor!

Os sete selos

Devemos dar o dízimo?

Sobre este assunto que tantas polêmicas causa, além das inverdades amplamente pregadas, O Senhor Jesus Cristo diz o seguinte, no Evangelho de Mateus, capítulo 23, versículo 23:

Ai de vós, escribas e fariseus, hipócritas, porque dais o dízimo da hortelã, do endro e do cominho e tendes negligenciado os preceitos mais importantes da Lei: a justiça, a misericórdia e a fé; devíeis, porém, fazer estas coisas, sem omitir aquelas! (Mateus 23:23) (Almeida revisada)

Em outra versão:

Ai de vós, escribas e fariseus, hipócritas! Pois que dais o dízimo da hortelã, do endro e do cominho e desprezais o mais importante da lei, o juízo, a misericórdia e a fé; deveis, porém, fazer essas coisas e não omitir aquelas. (Mateus 23:23) (Almeida corrigida)

Nestas traduções, assim como nos originais em grego, o texto diz que eles, os escribas e fariseus, não devem desprezar a justiça (ou o juízo), a misericórdia e a fé ("devíeis, porém, fazer estas coisas" ou "deveis, porém, fazer essas coisas") e nem omitir os dízimos ("sem omitir aquelas" ou "não omitir aquelas").

Agora, fica uma pergunta: esses mandamentos do Senhor Jesus foram apenas para os escribas e fariseus?

Vejamos esta outra passagem no mesmo capítulo 23 de Mateus:

Então, falou Jesus às multidões e aos seus discípulos:
Na cadeira de Moisés, se assentaram os escribas e os fariseus.
Fazei e guardai, pois, tudo quanto eles vos disserem, porém não os imiteis nas suas obras; porque dizem e não fazem. (Mateus 23:1-3)

E segue as obras dos escribas e fariseus;

Atam fardos pesados e difíceis de carregar e os põem sobre os ombros dos homens; entretanto, eles mesmos nem com o dedo querem movê-los.
Praticam, porém, todas as suas obras com o fim de serem vistos dos homens; pois alargam os seus filactérios e alongam as suas franjas.
Amam o primeiro lugar nos banquetes e as primeiras cadeiras nas sinagogas, as saudações nas praças e o serem chamados mestres pelos homens.
Vós, porém, não sereis chamados mestres, porque um só é vosso Mestre, e vós todos sois irmãos.
A ninguém sobre a terra chameis vosso pai; porque só um é vosso Pai, aquele que está nos céus.
Nem sereis chamados guias, porque um só é vosso Guia, o Cristo.
Mas o maior dentre vós será vosso servo.
Quem a si mesmo se exaltar será humilhado; e quem a si mesmo se humilhar será exaltado. (Mateus 23:4-12)

Agora, reparem de novo, com atenção, o versículo 1:

Então, falou Jesus às multidões e aos seus discípulos (Mateus 23:1)

Tudo o que Ele falou, o fez "às multidões e aos seus discípulos" e não, diretamente, aos escribas e fariseus.

Deste modo, uma vez que Ele falou aos discípulos, o fez aos daqueles dias e, igualmente, desta época; ou seja, dos dias de hoje.

Portanto, naqueles dias, quem era discípulo do Senhor Jesus, O ouvia e O obedecia. E por que seria diferente hoje?

Devemos dar o dízimo?

A resposta é: Sim. Devemos, sempre, dar o dízimo.

Diz O Senhor Jesus:

Ninguém pode servir a dois senhores; porque ou há de aborrecer-se de um e amar ao outro, ou se devotará a um e desprezará ao outro. Não podeis servir a Deus e às riquezas. (Mateus 6:24)

E, mais adiante, o apóstolo João, na primeira de suas epístolas, escreve:

Nisto são manifestos os filhos de Deus e os filhos do diabo: todo aquele que não pratica justiça não procede de Deus, nem aquele que não ama a seu irmão. (1 João 3:10)

O segundo texto complementa o primeiro.

Fica claro que existem apenas dois tipos de servos: os servos de Deus e os das riquezas.

E fica ainda mais claro que aqueles que servem a Deus, são filhos de Deus. Por outro lado, os que servem às riquezas são filhos do diabo.

Não há meio termo. Ou se está de lado ou do outro.

Termino com este texto escrito pelo apóstolo Paulo:

Toda a Escritura é inspirada por Deus e útil para o ensino, para a repreensão, para a correção, para a educação na justiça, a fim de que o homem de Deus seja perfeito e perfeitamente habilitado para toda boa obra. (2 Timóteo 3:16, 17)

Pelo que também Deus o exaltou sobremaneira e lhe deu o nome que está acima de todo nome, para que ao nome de Jesus se dobre todo joelho, nos céus, na terra e debaixo da terra, e toda língua confesse que Jesus Cristo é Senhor, para glória de Deus Pai. (Filipenses 2:9-11)

O Senhor Jesus não veio salvar "igrejas"; nem salvar a "sua igreja" ("Sua", de você que lê este texto).

O Senhor Jesus veio para salvar todo aquele que se arrepende dos seus pecados e os confessa, confessando também que Ele, Jesus, é Senhor, e que Deus O ressuscitou dentre os mortos (cfe. Romanos 10: 8-11).

Porém que se diz? A palavra está perto de ti, na tua boca e no teu coração; isto é, a palavra da fé que pregamos.
Se, com a tua boca, confessares Jesus como Senhor e, em teu coração, creres que Deus o ressuscitou dentre os mortos, serás salvo.
Porque com o coração se crê para justiça e com a boca se confessa a respeito da salvação.
Porquanto a Escritura diz: Todo aquele que nele crê não será confundido. (Romanos 10: 8-11)

São os salvos, independentemente dos locais onde congregam, que são a Sua igreja, a igreja do Senhor Jesus.

Jesus, o Cristo de Deus (cfe. 1 João 2:22, 23); Jesus, que veio em carne (cfe. 1 João 4:2-4); Jesus, o Filho do Deus vivo (cfe. 1 João 4:15).

Jesus Cristo. Este é o verdadeiro Deus e a vida eterna! (cfe. 1 João 5:20)

17 ¶ Als nun Jesus hinkam, fand er ihn schon vier Tage im Grabe liegend.
18 Bethanien aber war nahe bei Jerusalem, ungefähr fünfzehn Stadien weit.
19 Und viele von den Juden waren zu Martha und Maria gekommen, um sie wegen ihres Bruders zu trösten.

17 ¶ Then when Jesus came, He found that he had lain in the grave four days already.

20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him; but Mary sat still in the house.
21 Then Martha said unto Jesus, "Lord, if Thou hadst been here, my brother would not have died.
22 But I know that even now, whatsoever Thou wilt ask of God, God will give it Thee."
23 Jesus said unto her, "Thy brother shall rise again."

25 Jesus said unto her, "I am the Resurrection and the Life. He that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live;

Who is worthy to open the book and to loose the seals thereof?

1 ¶ And I saw in the right hand of Him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals.
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the book and to loose the seals thereof?"
3 And no man in Heaven, nor on earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
5 And one of the elders said unto me, "Weep not! Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book and to loose the seven seals thereof."

Был болен некто Лазарь из Вифании, из селения, где жили Мария и Марфа, сестра ее.

Ich rate dir, von mir Gold zu kaufen, das im Feuer geglüht ist, damit du reich werdest, und weiße Kleider, damit du dich bekleidest und die Schande deiner Blöße nicht offenbar werde, und Augensalbe, um deine Augen zu salben, damit du sehest.
Welche ich liebhabe, die strafe und züchtige ich. So sei nun fleißig und tue Buße!

1 ¶ Vi, na mão direita daquele que estava sentado no trono, um livro escrito por dentro e por fora, de todo selado com sete selos.
2 Vi, também, um anjo forte, que proclamava em grande voz: Quem é digno de abrir o livro e de lhe desatar os selos?
3 Ora, nem no céu, nem sobre a terra, nem debaixo da terra, ninguém podia abrir o livro, nem mesmo olhar para ele;
4 e eu chorava muito, porque ninguém foi achado digno de abrir o livro, nem mesmo de olhar para ele.
5 Todavia, um dos anciãos me disse: Não chores; eis que o Leão da tribo de Judá, a Raiz de Davi, venceu para abrir o livro e os seus sete selos.

Seigneur, voici, celui que tu aimes est malade

Бодрствуй и утверждай прочее близкое к смерти; ибо Я не нахожу, чтобы дела твои были совершенны пред Богом Моим.
Вспомни, что ты принял и слышал, и храни и покайся. Если же не будешь бодрствовать, то Я найду на тебя, как тать, и ты не узнаешь, в который час найду на тебя.
Впрочем у тебя в Сардисе есть несколько человек, которые не осквернили одежд своих, и будут ходить со Мною в белых одеждах , ибо они достойны.
Побеждающий облечется в белые одежды; и не изглажу имени его из книги жизни, и исповедаю имя его пред Отцем Моим и пред Ангелами Его.

Senhor, está enfermo aquele a quem amas

¶ Estava enfermo Lázaro, de Betânia, da aldeia de Maria e de sua irmã Marta.
2 Esta Maria, cujo irmão Lázaro estava enfermo, era a mesma que ungiu com bálsamo o Senhor e lhe enxugou os pés com os seus cabelos.
3 Mandaram, pois, as irmãs de Lázaro dizer a Jesus: Senhor, está enfermo aquele a quem amas.
4 Ao receber a notícia, disse Jesus: Esta enfermidade não é para morte, e sim para a glória de Deus, a fim de que o Filho de Deus seja por ela glorificado.
5 Ora, amava Jesus a Marta, e a sua irmã, e a Lázaro.
6 Quando, pois, soube que Lázaro estava doente, ainda se demorou dois dias no lugar onde estava.
7 Depois, disse aos seus discípulos: Vamos outra vez para a Judéia.
8 Disseram-lhe os discípulos: Mestre, ainda agora os judeus procuravam apedrejar-te, e voltas para lá?
9 Respondeu Jesus: Não são doze as horas do dia? Se alguém andar de dia, não tropeça, porque vê a luz deste mundo;
10 mas, se andar de noite, tropeça, porque nele não há luz.
11 Isto dizia e depois lhes acrescentou: Nosso amigo Lázaro adormeceu, mas vou para despertá-lo.
12 Disseram-lhe, pois, os discípulos: Senhor, se dorme, estará salvo.
13 Jesus, porém, falara com respeito à morte de Lázaro; mas eles supunham que tivesse falado do repouso do sono.
14 Então, Jesus lhes disse claramente: Lázaro morreu;
15 e por vossa causa me alegro de que lá não estivesse, para que possais crer; mas vamos ter com ele.
16 Então, Tomé, chamado Dídimo, disse aos condiscípulos: Vamos também nós para morrermos com ele. (João 11:1-16)

Et à l’ange de l’assemblée qui est à Sardes, écris, Voici ce que dit celui qui a les sept Esprits de Dieu et les sept étoiles, Je connais tes oeuvres, -que tu as le nom de vivre, et tu es mort.
Sois vigilant, et affermis ce qui reste, qui s’en va mourir, car je n’ai pas trouvé tes oeuvres parfaites devant mon Dieu.
Souviens-toi donc comment tu as reçu et entendu, et garde, et repens-toi. Si donc tu ne veilles pas, je viendrai sur toi comme un voleur, et tu ne sauras point à quelle heure je viendrai sur toi.
Toutefois tu as quelques noms à Sardes qui n’ont pas souillé leurs vêtements; et ils marcheront avec moi en vêtements blancs, car ils en sont dignes.
Celui qui vaincra, celui-là sera vêtu de vêtements blancs, et je n’effacerai point son nom du livre de vie, et je confesserai son nom devant mon Père et devant ses anges.
Que celui qui a des oreilles écoute ce que l’Esprit dit aux assemblées. (Apocalypse 3:1-6)
